David Tennant and Jodie Whittaker have joined the cast of Only Murders In The Building.

The upcoming sixth season of the murder mystery comedy series, which stars Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez as true crime podcasters Charles-Haden Savage, Oliver Putnam and Mabel Mora, will swap New York City's Arconia for a London setting with a star studded cast of guest stars confirmed.

As well as former Doctor Who stars David Tennant and Jodie Whittaker, the upcoming season will also feature appearances from Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan, along with Richard Ayoade, Jim Broadbent, Adrian Lukis and Kathryn Hunter.

The new list of names follows a previous announcement that Spice Girls legend Geri Halliwell-Horner will also be part of the cast.

She was revealed alongside the likes of Jennifer Saunders, Martin Freeman, Matthew Beard, Sharon Horgan, Rhea Norwood, Sean Teale, Simone Ashley, Amar Chadha-Patel, Jane Horrocks, Derek Jacobi, Jamie Demetriou, Anjana Vasan and Lesley Nicol.

Production for the new season is underway in the UK, marking the first time the series has moved outside the US.
