Adrien Brody secures Best Leading Actor award

Adrien Brody felt “so grateful” to pick up the Best Leading Actor award for his role in ‘The Brutalist’.

Taking to the stage, Brody said: “My goodness, thank you, thank you all. Where do I begin? I am so grateful and I wanna thank this wonderful institution for honoring me and everyone here tonight who has done such great work.

“This film is about this pursuit of leaving something meaningful and I think that's something we can all relate to.”

As well as Best Leading Actor, ‘The Brutalist’ left the ceremony with another three awards for Best Director, Best Original Score and Best Cinematography.
