Squid Game: Season 3

With viewers still reeling from the twists and turns of ‘Squid Game’s second season, a third series is reportedly scheduled to hit Netflix in June - though the streamer is yet to officially confirm this.

The third season will likely see the return of Lee Jun-jae’s Seong Gi-hun as he attempts to stop the sadistic game from taking any more lives.

Series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk previously teased the next season would show Gi-hun grappling with his guilt and loss after his failed rebellion led to the death of one of his closest allies.

He said: “This immense sense of failure and responsibility will weigh on him heavily. How will Gi-hun move forward with his mission? That’s the story we’ll be telling.”
