The White Lotus: Season 3

In February, HBO will release the third season of its mystery-drama ‘The White Lotus’, which promises to be as dark and funny as the last two series.

The third season will introduce a host of newcomers, with Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon and starring as three friends who embark on a girls’ trip to the luxury Thailand branch, while Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood and Jason Isaacs round out the cast.

Ahead of its release, series creator Mike White teased there would be a “satirical and funny look at death” in the upcoming season.

He said: “I think the third season would be maybe a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.”

White also described season three as “supersized”.

He said: “It's going to be a supersized White Lotus. It's going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don't know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that’s a good thing.”
