It: Welcome to Derry

After two outings on the big screen, Bill Skarsgard’s dreaded Pennywise the Dancing Clown will be making his way to the small screen with ‘It: Welcome to Derry’.

The HBO prequel series will explore the origins of Pennywise, and how he came to torment the small town of Derry.

Skarsgard teased the clown would be “pretty hardcore” in the show, and said he enjoyed exploring “sides of old Pennywise that we haven’t seen”.

He said: “It was fun. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, actually, and there's parts of it where we got to explore sides of old Pennywise that we haven't seen. And that's fun. I think there's some cool stuff in there that we haven't seen that I'm excited for the people to watch and enjoy hopefully.”
