Lil' Kim

In 2005, American rapper Lil' Kim was sentenced to one year in prison and fined $50,000 for lying to a grand jury in order to protect her friends who were involved in a 2001 shooting.

The 'No Time' hitmaker can proudly say she made a successful career comeback, as after her release, she returned to making hits.

She also decided to give back to the community as she launched the Lil’ Kim Cares foundation to raise money and help homeless people as well as domestic abuse victims.
