'Titanic' is one of Kate Winslet's best pictures, but the actress didn’t have the best time while making it.

Because she spent so much time in the water, the movie star eventually developed pneumonia, and the amount of big stunts she had to perform saw her sustain several nasty injuries, including chipping a bone in her elbow.

However, the worst was yet to come, as Kate nearly drowned during a scene where she was running away from a tidal wave.

In the sequence, the actress' dress became caught on a gate which dragged her beneath the water.
