Beyonce - If I Were A Boy

Beyonce achieved worldwide acclaim when she released this track from her third studio album 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' in 2008 but the song was originally recorded by singer BC Jean, although her record company recjected it. The songwriter was initially upset when Beyonce released it as a single but the pair later reached an agreement. She said: "The story is not as bad as everyone’s saying it is. “It’s pretty much, the best break-up ever, and the best experience ever and again, it’ll be on my album coming out in January!"
