Natalie Imbruglia - Torn

The former 'Neighbours' actress achieved worldwide fame when she broke away from soap acting to release this track as her debut single in 1997, but four years earlier had been recorded in Danish as 'Brændt' ('Burnt') by singer Lis Sørensen before Ednaswap recorded the fist English version in 1995.Natalie later joked: "I remember seeing a funny meme showing someone looking really shocked when they find out that 'Torn' is a cover and thinking, 'Great, now I'll have to go through the whole bloody thing again! '"
