In 2022, Montreal's Concordia University announced that it would be dedicating an entire course to Kanye – led by the rapper Yassin 'Narcy' Alsalman.

He explained: "This class isn't only about Kanye. It's about community, creativity, responsibility, accountability, fame and mental health, dreams and nightmares – and more importantly, self-actualisation."
