Beyonce

A Copenhagen University course about Queen Bey proved popular when it was launched as 75 students signed up.

Professor Erik Steinskog explained that the course would use the star's lyrics and videos to "introduce black feminist thought" to Scandinavia.

He said: "Beyonce is important in understanding the world we live in. (She) is one of the biggest pop artists today, which makes her important in an analysis of contemporary times."
