One thing that's clear in 'Grease' is if you're not part of the in-crowd, you're a social outcast.

Eugene Felnic, the kid who just wants to fit in with his peers, is mercilessly tormented and harassed without mercy by the T-Birds.

These bullies don't face any consequences for their actions, and the issue is never brought up again.

Betty Rizzo (played by Stockard Channing) also berates Sandy for her "goody-two-shoes attitude, and for being a 'good girl'", which ultimately leads to the young woman changing her personality and looks, just to fit in.
