George Lucas comes to the rescue
Even though Steven managed to finish filming 12 days ahead of schedule, he couldn’t rest for too long!
The visionary had to rush over to work on shooting his next movie, ‘Schindler’s List’, leaving ‘Jurassic Park’ without a director for the extensive post-production process.
Luckily, Steven’s long-term friend and ‘Indiana Jones’ collaborator George Lucas was able to take his place.
For his help, the ‘Star Wars’ creator received a “special thanks” in the credits to the picture.
