Hurricane horror
As filming went underway on Hawaii’s Kauai Island in 1992, Hurricane Iniki - the most violent hurricane to ever hit the region - attacked the production team.
Richard Attenborough, who played InGen CEO John Hammond, managed to sleep through the ordeal, and later explained it was because he had survived the London Blitz of the Second World War.
When his castmates asked how he managed to sleep through the hurricane, he replied: “My dear boy, I survived the Blitz!”
