Oscar victory

‘Jurassic Park’ was not only the highest-grossing movie of 1993, but it was also received an impressive three Oscar nominations for Best Sound, Best Sound Effects Editing, and Best Visual Effects.

The film won picked up all three statues, but missed out on Best Picture - though that wasn’t the end of the world for Steven Spielberg, as his other movie, ‘Schindler’s List’, received the honour, as well as earning the Best Director Award too!
