When it premiered in 2018, the tenth season of ‘Roseanne’ was watched by 18.44 million viewers, the highest-rated sitcom the network had seen since ‘The Big Bang Theory’.

The programme had been renewed for an eleventh series in March, just three days after the premiere, though was cancelled after the comedian made racist remarks about Valerie Jarrett, a former advisor to President Barack Obama.
