The biggest criticism posed against ‘Thor: The Dark World’ is that its villain, Malekith wasn’t particularly memorable, with Christopher Eccleston’s performance criticised.
Perhaps the biggest reason with the evil elf wasn’t great was because Christopher actively hated making the movie.
Reflecting on the film, the ‘Doctor Who’ actor admitted he had a “miserable experience” due to the many hours he would have to sit having his makeup applied, and insisted "there was a lack of humour in the film”.
