The Incredible Hulk
In the early days of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) it certainly struggled to find its footing. With an average score of 67% on the site, the second entry into the franchise, ‘The Incredible Hulk’, is a fairly uninspiring picture.
Starring Edward Norton as scientist Bruce Banner and his gigantic green alter ego, the movie would be the actor’s only outing in the role, as Mark Ruffalo would later play Banner.
The two actors had since spoken about the situation, though Mark admitted the conservation was very “awkward”.
He said: “I mean, I didn’t talk to him, but I reached out to him, as we do now when we don’t want to talk. And I was like, ‘Hey, man,’ and he’s like, ‘No, it’s fine.’ I mean, it was weird.
“It was even weird when Robert Downey Jr., at Comic-Con [in 2010], when introducing me, said, ‘And now reprising the role of the Hulk, is Mark Ruffalo.’ And they’re like, ‘Yeah– Huh?’"
