Even though it's far from great, ‘Morbius’ is an absolute rollercoaster of a ride to watch.

The film scores just 15% on the Tomatometer on the reviewing website.

The Sony film stars Jared Leto as the living vampire, and follows the character through an utterly ridiculous story filled with mind-numbing contrivances and hilariously-bad dialogue.

The movie also made $167.5 million at the box office, and is one of the lowest-earning films in the genre.

However, Matt Smith, who plays Morbius’ friend-turned-enemy Milo, has insisted it doesn’t matter that the picture is a box office flop.

He said: "It's a film, at the end of the day, we're not saving lives. For whatever reason, it didn't quite work out and ... It is what it is.

"But you just have to roll with it. What else are you gonna do?”
