Dakota Johnson and MGK have 'chemistry'
Hollywood star Dakota Johnson feels "happy" when she's in MGK's company.
Dakota Johnson and MGK have "a lot of chemistry".
The 37-year-old actress and MGK, the musician formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly, have grown closer over recent weeks, and a source has now revealed that Dakota feels "happy" when she's in his company.
The insider told People: "She’s happy and enjoys spending time with him."
Dakota - who was previously engaged to Coldplay star Chris Martin - and MGK were first spotted together in New York City in September.
And since then, they've developed a close bond, with an insider revealing that MGK "makes her happy".
The source said: "There’s a lot of chemistry and she’s been going to the studio with him while he works. For now, it makes her happy."
Earlier this year, meanwhile, Dakota revealed that she wants to have children one day.
The actress has enjoyed huge success in Hollywood, starring in a host of big-budget movies - but Dakota now plans to focus on her personal life, rather than her acting career.
The brunette beauty - who starred in the money-spinning Fifty Shades film franchise - told Vogue: "I’ve worked back-to-back for so long that now I have this deep calling to shift my perspective a bit and maybe have a bit more of a real life.
"I’ve been gone for, like, 20 years. The people in my life are so used to me leaving for months at a time."
Dakota now plans to shoot fewer films in the coming years, and instead focus more of her time and attention on her off-screen life.
The film star said: "I just want to be authentic. I want to unfold and unfold and really lovingly embrace this life."
Dakota is clear that she wants to have children.
The actress shared: "I really do. I didn’t expect to be this age and at this place in my life, but for whatever reason, that’s the plan of the universe. So I would love that.
"I hope that that happens for me. I’ve always felt, especially the last few years, that there is a soul that wants to come through. And I hope that I’m lucky enough to be able to do that."
