'All in the Family was based on the British sitcom 'Til Death Us Do Part' and starred Carroll O'Connor, Jean Stapleton, Sally Struthers, Rob Reiner and Danielle Brisebois as the Bunker family.

It was the first major American series to be filmed in front of a live studio audience.
