Lily Gladstone worked with Scorsese on ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’.

The 37-year-old star won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for her portrayal of Mollie Burkhart in the drama about the Osage Murders in the 1920s.

Lily praised Scorsese for focusing on the Native American community that was affected by the crimes.

She said: "Marty as a filmmaker understands what his role and his place is and understands the story he wants to tell."
