The Simpsons predict the future

Over the years, 'The Simpsons' have made a lot of predictions that turned out to come true.

For example, in the 2000 episode 'Bart to the Future', it is mentioned that Donald Trump has been President of the US, who left the country in tatters before Lisa inherits the White House.

Then, in the 2012 episode 'Lisa Goes Gaga', the eponymous superstar visited Springfield by flying into a stadium whilst suspended from cables – a stunt the performer would later perform in the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show, wearing a very similar outfit to what she wore in the episode
