Michael and K.I.T.T.’s meeting

Although the pair made for a truly epic duo, Michael Knight and K.I.T.T. didn’t properly meet for months!

David Hasselhoff (Michael Knight) and K.I.T.T.’s voice actor William Daniels were not even in the same room during the show’s production, and only met at a Christmas party nearly six months after work on the programme begun.

Reflecting on the situation, David said: “A guy walks over to my table and goes: ‘Hi I’m William Daniels, I play K.I.T.T.

“And I say: 'Oh I’m David Hasselhoff and I play Michael.’ And he says: ‘Oh we have a hit don’t we?’ And that was our first conversation.”
