Mark Hamill
Mark Hamill was 25 when he first played Luke Skywalker, the role that would define his career, in 1977 space opera 'Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope'.
Hamill played Jedi Knight Luke in George Lucas' two sequels and reprised the role as an older version of the character in 2017 Disney sequel 'Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi'. He was also digitally de-aged to play Luke in the Season 2 finale of 'The Mandalorian' and the sixth chapter of the spin-off series 'The Book of Boba Fett'.
But fans shouldn't expect to see Mark, 72, as the intergalactic hero again as he is done with Luke.
He said: "I had my time, and that’s good. But that’s enough.
"You never say never but I just don’t see any reason to.
“Let me put it that way: I mean, they have so many stories to tell. They don’t need Luke anymore.”
