Johnny Depp

One of Johnny Depp’s most famous roles is Captain Jack Sparrow from the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ films, a part he played between 2003 and 2017, starting with ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl’.

Speaking at the San Sebastian Film Festival, Depp insisted he will always be proud to have played the eccentric pirate, a character that has given joy to so many people, especially kids.

He said: “This is the positive side of having, in a strange way, given life to those characters like Captain Jack. I was lucky enough to locate and bring to life the beauty of Captain Jack Sparrow. I'll go to somebody's house, man, I'll perform at your kid's birthday party at this point.”
