Sean Penn
Sean Penn's name was first read out as a winner at the Oscars in 2004 when he was named Best Actor for his role as Jimmy Markum in Clint Eastwood's neo-noir crime drama 'Mystic River'. The movie tells the story of two long-time childhood friends who reunite after the daughter of one of them dies. Penn was 43 when he took home the statuette.
His second Best Actor win came in 2009 for his portrayal of gay rights activist and politician Harvey Milk, who was the first openly homosexual man to be elected to public office in California.
