Vivien Leigh was only 26 when she was named Best Actress for her portrayal of Scarlett O’Hara in Victor Fleming’s classic 'Gone With The Wind' at the 12th Academy Awards ceremony in 1940.

In 1952, she was awarded a second Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of Blanche in ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’.
