Joker: Folie a Duex

Todd Phillips' sadistic smash-hit will be getting a sequel this year.

Joaquin Phoenix will return as the Clown Prince of Crime, and will be joined by his accomplice and lover, Harley Quinn, played by Lady Gaga.

The movie is set to be a musical, in what will be a departure from the dramatic slow burn that its predecessor was.

'Joker: Folie a Duex' arrives in cinemas on 4 October.
