Kylie Jenner makes Victoria's Secret fashion show runway debut in 50 million dollar Fantasy Bra

Kylie Jenner walked the runway in a $50 million bra at the Victoria's Secret fashion show.

The 29-year-old reality TV star was among the famous faces on the catwalk during the lingerie brand's glitzy event at the Sony Pictures Studio in Culver City, California on Sunday night (18.10.26) and Kylie was given the special honour of wearing the brand's Fantasy Bra - a special garment created for the annual fashion show and this year featured 4,410 natural diamonds as well as a massive 75.54-carat yellow diamond. The bra took 15 people more than 1,000 hours to create and it cost a huge $50 million, making it Victoria's Secret's most expensive Fantasy Bra to date.

Adam Selman, chief creative officer at Victoria’s Secret, told Vogue magazine: "A big idea for the show was fandomonium. And the Fantasy Bra was one of the things that was requested the most from last year’s show.

"So we thought, OK, how do we do this in a really fun, excessive way? Because that’s what it is: a truly excessive piece of jewellery and artistry. It’s almost museum quality".

He added of choosing Kylie to wear the bra: "Kylie really extends beyond fashion, beyond culture, beyond TV, beyond one singular thing.

"That’s the exact same thing that we do. Like, the show is so big, it’s true entertainment, and I think that she is a great catalyst for that. She’s really created her own culture, which – how many people can say that?"

Jeweller Jacob Arabo, who worked on the Fantasy Bra, told the publication: "Victoria’s Secret took something as simple as a bra and transformed it into a piece of high jewellery.

"Nobody was doing anything like that at the time. It brought together two worlds – fashion and high jewellery – in a way I had never seen before.

"My vision was to create a piece of high jewellery that could be worn as a bra. No fabric, only gold and diamonds."

The Fantasy Bra has been a staple of the Victoria's Secret runway show since 1996 when supermodel Claudia Schiffer walked the runway wearing a $1 million costume.

Others to have worn the pricey pieces over the years include Heidi Klum, Gisele Bundchen and Tyra Banks.
