Cape Feare

This episode is a spoof of the 1962 psychological thriller ‘Cape Fear’ and its 1991 remake. In the 1993 story, Homer’s family is targeted by Sideshow Bob and they have to enter witness protection and live on a houseboat. The episode combines slapstick comedy with the tense situation, such as the part where Sideshow Bob steps onto rakes that continually hit him in the face.
