Release date

Initially, ‘Deadpool 3’ was due to release on 3 May, though that has since changed.

In the wake of the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, which saw actors and writers demand better pay and working conditions, production on the picture had been paused, leading to the film falling behind schedule.

Once the strike ended, work on the movie resumed, but Disney opted to push the release date back to 26 July.

The company also chose to postpone the releases of ‘Thunderbolts’ and ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ to 2025, making ‘Deadpool 3’ the only Marvel movie set for 2024.
