Shawn Levy directs

After Tim Miller and David Leitch directed the first two entries in the ‘Deadpool’ franchise, Shawn Levy is set to helm the third picture.

Shawn has worked with Ryan Reynolds before on ‘Free Guy’ and ‘The Adam Project’, and has promised fans that ‘Deadpool 3’ will be worth the wait.

Reflecting on the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, the 55-year-old director emphasised that returning to work on the picture was “feeling good”.

He said: "We’re happily back at work, and now that we know it’s coming out next summer, we are working hard to make the best movie possible and it’s feeling good.”
