Plot hints

Despite there being no exact plot details, ‘Deadpool 3’ is shaping up to be a treat for long-time fans of the X Men and Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies.

Writer Rhett Reese has described the picture as a “fish-out-of-water” situation, in which the story will drop “a lunatic into a very sane world”.

These comments suggest that the movie will focus on the multiverse, and how 20th Century Fox’s 'X Men' universe becomes intertwined with the MCU, similar to Sony’s ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, which saw previous renditions of the ‘Wall Crawler’ (Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield) team up with Tom Holland’s ‘Web Head’ in an attempt to thwart enemies from their pasts.
