After she completed her General Education Development tests when she was 15, Katy decided that she was done with education and decided to pursue her dream of becoming a pop star - a dream that came true!

But in an interview with Yahoo!, the ‘Firework’ singer lamented leaving school.

She said: “I’m kind of bummed at this stage that I didn’t have a great education.

“I was being pulled out of school even in the middle of school and sometimes being homeschooled. Sometimes we were sent to these really half-Christian, half-education, I-don’t-know-what-they-were schools.”
