Nicolas Cage has made multiple outrageous purchases over the years, including a dinosaur skull, a near pristine copy of Action Comics No. 1 (Superman's debut) and a haunted mansion!

But probably the oddest thing he bought was a two-headed snake inspired by a dream he had.

In an interview with The Guardian, the ‘Renfield’ actor said: “Isn’t that so wonderfully bizarre? Yes, I was dreaming about two-headed eagles.

"I don’t know what to take from that – and then the next day, some guy called my manager to ask if I was interested in buying a two-headed snake.

"I couldn’t say no because I was connecting the dots. It was too beautifully weird.”
