Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Seyfried enjoys collecting taxidermy and has spent tens of thousands on stuffed animals.

During the production of ‘Red Riding Hood’, Amanda purchased a stuffed miniature horse.

Speaking about her hobby, the 37-year-old actress said: "When taxidermy is done well it’s an amazing piece of art. I love animals and they’re very easy to look after when they’re dead.

"I have a horse, a miniature horse, it’s a baby. It’s quite small, it’s much bigger than my dog. His name is Antoine.

"I bought him in Paris. He was sitting with every kind of animal you can possibly imagine, giraffes, zebras, scorpions, and they were all sitting in this incredible installation and that’s when I decided that this was going to be a life long hobby.'
