The ‘Six Feet Under’ actor revealed in a statement that he had battled Hodgkin’s lymphoma, cancer of the lymphatic system.

The 52-year-old star shared his diagnosis only when he was in remission, prior to filming Season 5 of 'Dexter’.

He said: "I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition. I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care."
