The 'Ashes to Ashes' singer died on 10 January 2016 at the age of 69.

The rock legend had been battling liver cancer without sharing his diagnosis with the public.

At the time of his death, it was announced that the musician had passed away after "a courageous 18-month battle with cancer".

Just two days before his passing, Bowie released his 26th and final studio album 'Blackstar'.
