A gang of seven teenagers - who were nicknamed the Bling Ring - got their kicks by stealing from the rich and famous living in Los Angeles and Paris Hilton was one of the most high-profile victims.

The socialite's home was targeted five times in 2008 as the gang knew that she was out of town.

The Bling Ring stole cash, designer clothes and shoes, as well as $2 million worth of jewellery.
