Kelly Clarkson thinks her TV talk-show has "saved" her.

The 44-year-old pop star has hosted The Kelly Clarkson Show since 2019, and she's reflected on her journey as she prepares to step away from the TV show.

Kelly - who previously announced that the seventh season of the show would be the last, citing a desire to focus on her family life - said in a YouTube video: "You know what? [In our] seven seasons, a lot has happened in my personal life and a lot has happened in life for everyone.

"There’s been a pandemic. I think, if there’s a word to describe The Kelly Clarkson Show, it’s pivot. There’s not been one normal season, I feel like, but at the same time; what a necessary thing to have to come to work and focus on other people.

"I think that saved me, honestly, a lot of times [and] I think this show has made everyone better at what they do."

Kelly previously announced that she was quitting her daytime TV show in order to focus on her family life.
