Jamie Foxx ‘becomes dad again at 58 with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp’
The Oscar-winning Hollywood actor has reportedly welcomed his third child following a reconciliation with his Australian girlfriend, three years after a serious medical emergency left him hospitalised and unable to remember 20 days of his life.
Jamie Foxx is said to have become a father for the third time at 58 – reportedly welcoming his first child with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp three years after suffering a life-threatening medical emergency.
The Oscar-winning actor and comedian, who already has two daughters from previous relationships, has welcomed a baby with Alyce, 31, according to sources who confirmed the news to People magazine on Wednesday (04.11.26)
The couple began dating in 2023, separated in January 2025 and subsequently rekindled their relationship, with Jamie publicly confirming last month that another child was on the way.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in October, Jamie told host Jimmy: “I got a baby on the way… still got it!”
The Django Unchained star also discussed the prospect of becoming a father again as he approaches 60, joking about returning to the daily routine of taking a young child to school.
He said: “I wasn’t on the fence about it, but being 58… you know what I’m saying?”
Jamie went on to reveal a conversation with fellow Hollywood actor Al Pacino, 86, had helped put his own situation into perspective.
Al welcomed his son Roman with Noor Alfallah, 32, in 2023, when he was 83, becoming a father for the fourth time.
Jamie said: “I did run into Al Pacino, so if I was ever on the fence, I wasn’t on the fence when I talked to him.”
Jamie is already father to Corinne Foxx, 32, whom he shares with former partner Connie Kline, and Anelise Bishop, 17, from his relationship with Kristin Grannis.
Corinne has followed her father into the entertainment industry and has worked alongside him on the Fox musical game show Beat Shazam, while Anelise has also appeared publicly with her father during significant moments in his career.
Jamie and Alyce were first romantically linked in 2023, following the end of his six-year relationship with Dawson's Creek actor Katie Holmes, 47, in 2019.
Alyce, an Australian former fitness model, reportedly became particularly close to Jamie during his recovery from a serious medical emergency in April 2023.
But in January 2025, a source close to the actor told People that the couple had separated after approximately 18 months together.
They subsequently sparked speculation about a reconciliation when they were seen together in public in April.
In May, TMZ reported Alyce was already several months into her pregnancy, although the couple had largely kept details of their relationship and preparations for the baby private.
The reported birth marks another major development in Jamie's personal life following the health crisis that left him hospitalised in 2023.
The actor was taken to hospital in April that year after suffering what his family initially described as a medical complication.
His relatives did not immediately disclose the nature of the emergency, and Jamie remained largely out of public view while recovering.
He later revealed in his 2024 Netflix comedy special, Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was…, that he had suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke.
The medical emergency caused him to lose his memory for 20 days, an experience he discussed during the special while reflecting on his recovery and the support he received from his family.
