Vogue Williams reveals she and Spencer Matthews have talked about co-parenting in event of divorce
The Irish presenter has revealed the unusual agreement she discussed with her husband about their children and closest friends if their marriage ever ended, as the couple juggle four children and an extensive London home renovation.
Vogue Williams has revealed she and husband Spencer Matthews have already discussed how they would handle a divorce – despite insisting their marriage is stronger than ever.
The Irish television and radio presenter, 41, opened up about the possibility of separating from Spencer, 38, during a candid conversation on her hit podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me, which she co-hosts with comedian Joanne McNally, 43. Vogue explained while the couple, who married in 2018 and share four children, have no plans to split, they have discussed how they would approach co-parenting if their relationship ever ended.
Speaking to Joanne about the importance of putting children first following a break-up, Vogue said: “It's what should be done, but I just I never understand that. Like me and Spenny, we've spoken about that.
“Not that we're like we're not getting divorced. Jesus, don't write about it joke or otherwise.”
She continued: “But like we have I have said to him I was like if that ever happened between us like I'd never make it difficult for you to see the kids because what's the point? They're the ones that that miss out on everything.”
However, Vogue admitted there were certain people she would be less willing to share with Spencer if their marriage did come to an end.
The presenter revealed she had already warned her husband that some of her closest friends and family members would remain firmly on her side.
Speaking to Joanne, she said: “I did tell I did tell Spen though that um you you can't have Joanne and you can't have Alexander and you can't have my cousin. Don't you dare go behind my back and see him.”
Joanne joked: “That's fine yeah, I'll go with you. Cos you'll go to a nicer place. He's a boy, he'll go to some man cave. I don't want to go there.”
The conversation comes as Vogue and former Made in Chelsea star Spencer are navigating a particularly busy period in their family life, having welcomed their fourth child while undertaking a major renovation of their new London home.
The couple, who met while competing on Channel 4's winter sports reality show The Jump in 2017, married in June 2018 and are parents to Theodore, eight, Gigi, six, Otto, four, and their youngest son, Remy Valentine.
Vogue, who has also appeared on Dancing with the Stars and Stepping Out, has built a successful presenting and podcasting career, while Spencer first found fame on E4 reality series Made in Chelsea before pursuing business and endurance sporting challenges.
The pair sold their £4.25 million apartment in Battersea before purchasing what they have described as their “forever” home in June 2025.
They are currently living in rented accommodation with their children while builders carry out an extensive 18-month renovation of the property.
Vogue gave followers a glimpse of the work this week, filming Spencer walking through the hallway towards the rear of the period house as she surveyed the building work.
