Dylan Sprouse and his wife Barbara Palvin have been using humour to cope after a confrontation with an alleged intruder at their home.
The Suite Life of Zach and Cody star is believed to have tackled a trespasser and held them at gunpoint as cops rushed to their home in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills on Friday (17.04.26) - and now the couple have spoken out about the incident during an appearance at the New York premiere of the Devil Wears Prada 2 on Monday (20.04.26) - insisting they've been trying to laugh it off.
When asked about the confrontation, model Barbara told E! News: "Dealing with the trauma with jokes and fun."
Dylan added: "I thought it was funny ... I'm really - this is actually to my detriment - but, I'm really not a 'too soon' guy in general. We're laughing about things the moment they happen ...
"You gotta have levity in life. And thankfully, no one was hurt, and there was no more violence than what happened and so it's all okay."
Emergency services were called to the couple's home at around 12.30am on Friday (17.04.26) responding to a report of an attempted burglary and cops apprehended a man at the scene.
Sources told TMZ that Dylan confronted the alleged trespasser and held him down until police arrived. Officers were told the 33-year-old actor had a gun and confronted the man with the weapon before tackling him.
Police insiders claimed the situation was more like trespassing than an attempted burglary, but Dylan and Barbara didn't want the man, who didn't make it into their house, booked for trespassing.
