'Tired' Dylan Sprouse has no idea where wife Barbara Palvin 'finds the energy' after giving birth
Dylan Sprouse has been "more tired" than ever after becoming a dad, but his wife Barbara Palvin has been "in super mom mode".
Dylan Sprouse has no clue where Barbara Palvin "finds the energy" after giving birth.
The 34-year-old actor, who rose to fame as a child star on the Suite Life of Zack and Cody with twin brother Cole, welcomed baby girl Sylvie into the world six weeks ago, and he has become even "more tired" after a month and a half of fatherhood.
His wife Barbara made her runway return at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Sunday (18.10.26), and he told E! News at the vent: "I don't know where she finds the energy.
"I'm a tired guy all the time, and obviously having a newborn makes you more tired.
"Barbara's just up and in super mom mode, and now she's walking the show. I'm like, 'Where does it come from?'"
Dylan pondered that "some people are just better than other people", adding that he's "extremely proud of my wife".
As for being a first time dad, the new parent has found it "really cute" getting to bond with his daughter.
He said: "Her eyesight's clearing up, and so she's starting to recognize faces a lot more.. She's smiling and laughing at my jokes, which is all a dad can really dream of."
However, there is also a much messier side to having a baby.
Revealing the biggest surprise he's had so far, he joked "How desensitised I am now to bodily fluids. That's just having a baby, I guess."
The couple - who married in 2023 - took to Instagram this week to share their first photograph as a family of three, which was taken from the back and saw Dylan holding onto their newborn while they watched baseball on TV, with the trio all wearing Los Angeles Dodgers jerseys.
Suggesting the baby was born on 7 September, the joint post was captioned: "We took Labor Day literally this year [baby emoji] (sic)"
And just a day later, he revealed her name as he reflected on fatherhood.
Speaking on his and Brendan Columbus' Wildmen podcast, he said: "There's moments when I look at Sylvie, and I'm like, 'This is the coolest thing ever'.
"She's looking at me and her eyes are opening. She's got a small wake window during the day and she's looking at me and she smiles or something and it's the cutest thing."
However, Dylan acknowledged not every aspect of being a new parent is sunshine and rainbows.
He quipped: "Ninety percent of the time right now, it's like having a baby pet monkey.
"It is having a pet monkey because she is chirping and making noises and pooping and farting and burping and hiccupping. It's like having a really poopy little animal."
