Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky "want the best for each other" amid their separation.

The 54-year-old reality star recently split from her husband Mauricio - with whom she has daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and 15-year-old Portia - after almost three decades of marriage but insisted that things are "amicable" between them and that they are just making sure their family is a priority.

She told 'Entertainment Tonight': All I know is we love each other. We still live under the same roof and we both want the best for each other.

"I am so happy that it is amicable right now and I hope it stays that way. We are just taking it a day at a time and putting our family first."

The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star recently described her separation as a "divorce" as she reflected upon the death of her best friend Lorene - who took her own life earlier this year aged just 52 - that she had been through "a lot" in 2023 but is feeling "stronger" because of it all.

She told TooFab: "I've gone through a lot this last year that does change you. Losing my best friend to suicide changed me. Going through my divorce, all that has made me stronger but it definitely changes you as a person. I feel good."

Kyle - who also has 35-year-old Farrah with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie - is striving to be as healthy as possible since the split and admitted that her sudden lifestyle changes had not gone unnoticed by her co-stars but is still determined to do whatever it keep feeling as "strong and happy" as is possible amid the split.

She told People: "I had a lot of heat from the cast in the beginning. ’You're not drinking’ and ‘You're working out every day’ and ‘You're going to work out, even in Vegas?’ I'm like, ‘I need to do everything I can to make myself feel as strong and happy as I can right now.’"
