Kelle Bryan praises diversity on Loose Women: We represent everybody as much as possible
Loose Women panellist Kéllé Bryan says the changes to the show and line-up shake-up has made the panel the strongest and most diverse it has ever been.
Kéllé Bryan believes the line-up of panellists on Loose Women has never been stronger, because it is now so diverse.
The ITV daytime programme has undergone a major overhaul over the past year, with cuts to behind-the-scenes staff changes, while some long-time panellists have moved on and others have had their screen time reduced.
Among the absentees are Denise Welch, who left Loose Women in August 2026 after 25 years on-and-off the panel to focus full-time on her acting career. Birds of a Feather star Linda Robson has not appeared since 2025, and Nadia Sawalha has been removed and sidelined from the show following remarks she made in support of Palestine.
This has meant more airtime for comedian Judi Love, West End star Brenda Edwards, influencer GK Barry, newsreader Charlene White, and a debut for Dragons’ Den star Emma Grede.
Following the shake-up, Kéllé says the Loose Women line-up now offers “something for everybody” and covers “all age ranges”.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, she said: “It’s a great line-up, there’s something for everybody, all age ranges. That’s one thing that Loose Women has always been able to do really well, which is represent everybody as much as possible.
“It definitely works differently because it’s more about the conversation. It’s like a podcast on telly.”
Despite the upheaval, former Eternal singer Kéllé says the atmosphere behind the scenes is good.
The former Hollyoaks actress is also proud of the campaigning work that Loose Women has been able to achieve, especially its support for victims of domestic violence.
She said: “It’s a different way of working, but what’s nice about it is that we’re all together under the same roof. You bump into each other a lot more and it’s more transient.
“I’m just getting used to it all, I think. It’s still very new to me.
“It’s been a great year for our campaigns, things like dealing with domestic abuse have gone really well. It’s been a really great year for the show. It’s been a really powerful year of impact.”
Kéllé first shot to fame as a member of British R'n'B group Eternal, along with Louise Redknapp and sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett. Kéllé joined ITV’s Loose Women as a panellist in 2019.
