Classical singer Camilla Kerslake, 37, showed the aftermath of a C02 laser resurfacing procedure, which creates "micro-injuries" in the skin to remove damaged outer skin layers, with a picture on her Instagram Stories on Thursday (17.09.26).
She was seen smiling with her tongue sticking out, and Camilla penned over the shot: "No pain no gain baby."
The star was left with a painful and bloodied face when she had the same procedure just a few months earlier, but Camilla also needed an oxygen mask to "help with healing".
In a TikTok video, the entertainer filmed herself eating yoghurt and said she could not open her mouth wide enough to eat it from a normal-sized spoon, opting for a teaspoon instead, because of how swollen her face was.
Camilla captioned the May post: "The last 48 hours have been rough to say the least!
"The pain has been considerably worse than I expected but the real surprise was the amount of swelling?!
"Hopefully it should subside in the next couple of days (sic)."
She has been married to former rugby union player Chris, 40, since 2018, and they have two sons together, Wilder, five, and two-year-old Hunter.
Last year, Chris did Strictly Come Dancing, and his professional dance partner was 37-year-old Nadiya Bychkova.
And Camilla was determined to build a friendship with the BBC Latin and Ballroom dance show's former pro, even inviting her to dinner "in a bid to stop any gossiping around the curse".
The "Strictly Curse" is a phenomenon where celebrities and professional dancers develop romances on the show, which leads to real-life relationship breakdowns.
Last September, a source told The Sun newspaper: "Camilla is a woman's woman.
"She knows it's inevitable that, sadly, women will be compared and pitted against each other, and she won't stand for that.
"She's always been very vocal about women supporting each other and has already invited Chris’ partner over for dinner.
"She wants to start building a friendship outside of the show in a bid to stop any gossiping around the curse."
Chris joked that he was "going to be the third wheel".
The source continued: "Chris’ partner is totally on board. They have shared common ground and want to make sure they’re a unified group - rather than Camilla being on the outside.
"There are plans to spend time together before the series kicks off, and Camilla is looking forward to getting to know Chris’ partner, beyond the headlines.
"Chris has said he thinks both women will hit it off as mates, and has joked to people close to him that he's going to be the third wheel."
