Jasmine Harman 'secretly loving' husband 'doing everything for me' amid hernia op recovery
Jasmine Harman has been recovering for weeks following hernia surgery.
A Place in the Sun's Jasmine Harman is enjoying her husband look after her while she recovers from a hernia operation.
The 50-year-old TV presenter cannot lift a finger for a few more weeks as the star recovers from the surgery, which she revealed on May 25.
In a video posted to Instagram on May 28, Jasmine explained that she and Jon Boast were having a "nice gentle stroll" along a beach with their dog, Astro, because "that's all I'm allowed to do at the moment with my recovery".
The property expert then quipped: "But it's quite good actually because basically, I've got Jon doing everything for me."
Jon joked: "As opposed to what's not new."
Jasmine continued: "Well, at least, you know, even things like carrying laundry baskets up the stairs. I can't do it anymore, so he's having to do everything."
Jon jokingly asked: "Oh, anymore ever?"
Jasmine replied: "Not for another few weeks at least."
The Renovation in the Sun host thanked her fans for their love and support since she told them about the hernia surgery.
Jasmine insisted that she is "getting better" and that stitches will be "out, hopefully, next week, and then I should be back to normal soon".
The star captioned the video: "Thanks so much for all of your messages wishing me a speedy recovery.
"I’m doing well and taking it slowly. Although now I’m up and about, I’m secretly quite enjoying having Jon look after me.
"In sickness and in health eh!? (sic)"
On May 25, Jasmine told her Instagram followers how she had been forced to stop working and slow down for a few weeks as she recovers from the surgery.
In a video, the star revealed: "Normally on a Monday morning, if I'm not working, I would be doing my Zumba class. Today I'm not doing it.
"Reason being, I'm recovering from surgery, I had to have a small surgical procedure - nothing serious - just a little hernia operation. I've got a couple of weeks off work, and I know I've been a bit quiet on here; that's the reason why.
"Although it's a small procedure, any kind of surgery really knocks the wind out of your sails. So I will be taking it easy, enjoying the opportunity to slow down a little bit, which doesn't happen very often, but I just wanted to let you guys know."
Jasmine captioned the upload: "I’m currently recovering from a small surgical procedure.
"Everything went really well, and it’s nothing serious, but I’m under strict instructions to rest… which for me is easier said than done.
"So for now it’s comfy clothes, early nights, and no Zumba!
"Anyone else find it hard to slow down and sit still?”
