Rivals' Emily Atack reveals details of her star-studded wedding
Rivals actress Emily Atack and her fiance, Alistair Garner, are set to say "I do" later this year.
Emily Atack's wedding is set to be a three-day star-studded bash.
The 36-year-old actress and her 39-year-old fiance, Alistair Garner, are "in the thick of" planning their dream nuptials.
And Emily has asked her Rivals "hubby" Rufus Jones, 50, who plays MP Paul Stratton, the spouse of her unfaithful alter ego Sarah Stratton, to give a reading.
She told the new issue of HELLO! magazine: "It's going to be lovely. I've really enjoyed planning it. It's going to be three days of joy with all my favourite people - it's going to be chaos."
On May 6, Emily's mum, actress Kate Robbins, accidentally let slip when her daughter's big day is happening when she took to her Instagram Stories and shared a shot of 45-year-old media personality Kim Kardashian’s pointy boob Met Gala outfit.
Spitting Image alum Kate, 67, joked in her caption: "That's me sorted for my 'mother-of-the-bride' outfit later this year."
In 2025, The Sun reported that Emily and Alistair eyed up Spain as a place for their wedding.
A source said: "Emily has been going to Spain with her family on holiday ever since she was a child and loves the idea of getting married there.
"She and Alistair adore the stunning countryside there, and guaranteed sun is a bonus. They love the idea of friends and family joining them."
The Inbetweeners entertainer's love of Spain stems from her childhood.
Emily said: "I loved my family holidays there when I was growing up. We had a property there, and my dad sold it a couple of years ago, but it’s our favourite place, and we still go every year, and stay in a hotel."
And in July 2025, the Dad's Army film cast member and Alistair got engaged after three years of dating.
The couple posted a loved-up shot as Emily showed off her sparkly engagement ring, with the caption: "It’s Friday, I’m in love [ring emojis] (sic)."
In June 2024, Emily and Alistair welcomed their first child together, a son named Barney.
And the actress recently admitted that motherhood can be "lonely".
She explained to Closer magazine: "Becoming a mum can be quite a lonely thing. I didn't go to all the mum and baby groups, as I'm quite shy. People don't believe me, and they laugh at me when I say that."
